Game of Thrones! It's one of the most talked about shows on TV ever, so when we got the chance to talk to one of the stars, it was a no-brainer. Sibel Kekilli who plays Shae on the show, opens up about hanging with the other actors, including star Peter Dinklage, the gorgeous fashion and locations, and her confusion about getting recognized at the airport. Get used to it girl! Watch: Is every celeb obsessed with Game of Thrones? OK!: Sometimes Shae can be complex. Do we want to root for her, should we watch out for her? How do you play that, what are you thinking for the character? SK: I think she has a really big heart, I think she’s really honest and a straight person. In the whole of this world of lies and power fights, she’s really straight and that’s why I love Shae because she’s not frightened or scared of a person like Tyrion (Peter Dinklage). At the beginning she was like "Ok, you want something from me so what do I get from you?" She’s really tough, and she’s not scared of people but of course she’s really careful and she’s clever, and she’s a really smart girl. If she loves someone, if it's Tyrion or Sansa (Sophie Turner), she really loves this person. She would die for this person or she would kill for this person. OK!: You had an intense scene recently when your character Shae found out her guy Tyrion is marrying someone else, Sansa. How did you prepare for that scene and what do you think Shae is thinking? Sibel Kekilli: I tried to not think that much. I have an acting coach but I always just try to feel the situation so of course I read my scenes and learned my lines but acting is like, you can't prepare yourself as much as you want. But when you have really good actors with you it's like playing ping pong. OK! News: The best Tina Fey gifs to ever exist OK!: Peter Dinklage, probably one of the better actors to ping pong with?  SK: He’s one of the greats! My feeling for Shae is that she had a really tough life until she met Tyrion. Last season she said to Sansa “Don’t trust anyone” so I think she was hoping for a new life with Tyrion but at the same time she knows that she can’t be at the same level as Sansa. But she never expected this situation right now, so it was a big disappointment for her and she feels a lot of anger at the same time. OK!: How was it on the set for that? SK: I had one situation where a guy said “We’re starting now” and they were talking to me like “You poor girl” and I was like "I know!" But what can I say! I can’t just beg the producers and say, “Pease let me marry Tyrion!” But Shae is so in love with Tyrion and has feelings for him, so it was hard to act. OK! News: The Mindy Project staff loves GoT OK!: Have you read all the books? SK: No. I didn’t want to. Even George R. Martin himself (the author of the Game of Thrones series) said that Shae in the book is so different from Shae in the series so I didn’t want to read it. OK!: Will you read them later, when the TV show is done? SK: Yes I will. I want to read it for sure. I was really scared and frightened to get confused. Because even the fans were like “Shae is so different from the books!” So I didn’t want to confuse the two. OK!: Let’s talk about the fashion on this show. Do you have a favorite dress to wear? SK: Yes Shae’s dress, I want to buy it! Last season I told Michelle the costume designer, I said "Please I want to have this dress!" But I'm not sure if I can get it. And I love the jacket from Tyrion. Remember she put the jacket on in the first season? I love that too. The dresses on the women are just so beautiful. Watch: Fashion icon Betsey Johnson lets us in her closet OK!: Also beautiful: the locations. When you’re filming, what is the shooting schedule like? Do you get to take time to do touristy things and explore the area more? SK: I’m not sure if I can tell that because people will think "That’s her job? I want to be an actress!" (laughs) Last year I went to film in Dubrovnik, Croatia. It’s one the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my life and the cleanest. The people are so beautiful, tall and dark hair and blue eyes. I was really lucky when I went there last year, I was there for 10 days and I think I had to shoot 4 or 5 days so I had 6 days off. And I just spent time with Conleth Hill (who plays Lord Varys on the show) and we were just hanging around the pool. It sounds like paradise and it was. Of course we worked too! OK!: What do you guys do after you wrap at the end of the day? Do you go grab a drink and hang out? SK: Oh no, we hate each other (laughs). We stay in the same hotel so if course we see each other. And it was so beautiful and warm in the evenings so we had dinner together or spent time with each other at the hotel. OK! News: How many new fall TV shows have cops or vampires? OK!: Sometimes there are some sexy scenes and nudity. What do you do in between those scenes, is it awkward? SK: Of course nudity is a part of the show and it’s a part of working in the field of acting. But I have to say that I was lucky because in the case of Shae it was necessary in the beginning. But her character is developing constantly so it’s not important anymore. So I have to say sorry to the viewers in the case of Shae for now being covered up! OK!: What do you and Peter Dinklage like to talk about together? SK: I have to say that in the beginning, my English was not great and Peter made some jokes of me. In the second season he said "Sibel, I can't make jokes in front of you anymore because your English is getting better and now you will understand it." He’s one of the funniest people I have ever met! OK!: Has being on the set helped your English, have you had a tutor? SK: Sophie said in an interview, and I didn’t know this, that she was also making jokes of me and I didn’t know that! I was always asking her about words and English letters and she would say “Yeah Sibel say this” but when I would say it she would start to laugh. She would say "They don’t exist Sibel, we were just making fun of you" and I said "Thanks for teaching me bad English!"  We have an English teacher and dialogue coach on the set and she helps me a lot before we shoot, and on Skype before we shoot. And Conleth helped me too. He’s also really funny and nice, and helped a lot. But don’t get me wrong I love Sophie and Peter, I love their humor. OK! News: Have you voted in the OK! TV Awards? OK!: And what are you shooting now? SK: It's like the English CSI in Germany called Tatort. My character is in the police department. I think people see a tough girl in me, my part is a really tough girl, handling guns and running around and doing stunts. OK!: Are you recognized all over the world and how are the fans different? SK: I’m happy that I’m not a really, really big star, like Brad Pitt or something. I’m really happy that I can go out and go shopping. In Germany, I don’t want to sound arrogant, but I can be recognized. People will say, "Did we meet somewhere?" They know me, but they don’t know from where! It was really weird when I was in LA for the premiere of Game of Thrones this year, at the airport there were fans. I looked behind me because I thought there were stars behind me, but when they were asking for autographs they meant me! It was a shock. I was like "Are you sure?" Lisa Ling gave birth to a baby girl, Jett Ling Song, just two months ago, but she's already working on another exciting new project! She's joined Dove's Let's Make Girls Unstoppable, which seeks to raise the self esteem of young girls. She chatted with OKMagazine.com about the program and the wonders of new motherhood. Lisa Ling: Dove has an incredible campaign to try to convey to young girls that they can feel unstoppable. According to statistics, 6 out of 10 girls stop doing the things they love doing the most, their favorite activity, because of what they look like. I’ve always been a fierce advocate for girls, but now as a mother to a daughter I’m even more serious about wanting girls to feel confident. If you go to Dove.com, you can upload images or videos of girls who are doing their favorite things. You can also download tools to use if you want to help the girls in your life to have more self-esteem. OK!: Did you experience anything like that when you were growing up? LL: When I started working in television I was really young, like 16 years old. There were four hosts on this show, two boys and two girls, and the other girl was always considered the pretty one. I was considered kind of the "funky" one. I heard it so frequently that it was always this source of insecurity for me, because I wasn't the pretty one and she was much more well-regarded OK!: Your daughter Jett is two months old now. What is the most surprising thing about motherhood so far? LL: That I actually really like it! I never had that biological need to have a child— for some girls, that’s what they dream of. When my husband and I got married, we decided we wanted to have a child together, but yet I was still really afraid of it because I had been a career woman. But I actually really like motherhood. When my baby looks at me and smiles, it's just beautiful. OK!: Has your sister’s baby met your baby yet? LL: Oh yeah, like the first day she was born. It’s so funny because my sister’s daughter’s name is Li, so we have Jett and Li now. Li has always been our little baby, and now she is kind of the big sister and she’s assumed that role really well—no jealously, just really loving and sweet. Li’s always like, “Come on, baby Jett, chase me!” She can’t move yet! It’s hilarious. OK!: Is there another celebrity family you would like to have a playmates with and why? LL: I certainly wouldn’t mind my baby hanging out with Brangelina’s kids. I’ve have a chance to spend some time with Angie, and she’s just such a smart, passionate person. I’m assuming, given the fact that she travels so much with her kids, and they're from so many different parts of the world, that they’re little global citizens. So I’d love for my daughter to be able to hang out with other global citizens, or aspire to be global citizens like they are. Do you know a young girl who might benefit from the Dove project?
