When I chatted with Ashley Benson to kick off 7-Eleven's Summer Slurpee Days we naturally talked all things, you guessed it, summer. The Pretty Little Liars star's love life is always under scrutiny (is she dating co-star Tyler Blackburn or isn't she?) so I wanted to know about her perfect summer date. The answer is a little complicated... OK! News: Ashley Benson Talks Slurpees and 'Pretty Little Liars' "Going to the beach, having dinner, looking at the water, then going on a ferris wheel, then going to play games," she says. "I’m describing Santa Monica Pier right now but that’s not what I’m thinking of. I’m thinking of, like, The Notebook scene. I’m playing movies in my head. And then when it comes down to it they’re like, 'What do you want to do?' And I’m like, 'I wanna go eat and then lets go home.' I just want to eat and go home and watch a movie. Keep it simple." "I’m kind of a guy myself," she laughs. "I’m more of a tomboy. I don’t like to get dressed up for things so I love to keep it casual. As long as the guy makes me laugh I’m happy." EXCLUSIVE: Sensing it has a movie that can create heat during Oscar season, Relativity is moving the Scott Cooper-directed revenge thriller Out Of The Furnace from October 4 to a limited release on November 27, expanding that run beginning December 6th. The film stars Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Zoe Saldana, Sam Shepard and Willem Dafoe. Crazy Heart helmer Cooper wrote the script with Brad Ingelsby. Bale plays a simple man in a blue collar job at the local steel mill, who cares for his terminally ill father at night. His brother (Affleck) returns from Iraq and falls in with a ruthless crime ring. When he disappears, that simple man takes matters into his own hands, and sets out to seek justice for his sibling. Appian Way’s Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Killoran produced with Scott Free’s Ridley Scott, with Michael Costigan also producing with Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh. This has been a hot project since Ingelsby first sold the spec in a big money deal that came with DiCaprio attached to star and Scott to direct. The elements have shifted, but the Cormac McCarthy-style stark and simple revenge tale element has remained intact. Relativity production president Robbie Brenner said that Cooper “has made a powerful, moving and brilliant film that we think will generate a tremendous amount of conversation ... Read More »

Not many films get made in Latvia every year, so the chance to see one is a rarity and with a film like “Mother, I Love You” (“Mammu, es Tevi milu”), it’s also a treat. Directed by Janis Nords, the film tells a fairly simple story in a very sophisticated way, proving the too-often forgotten truth that with good cinematic storytelling any tale can be tense, suspenseful and emotional. The winner of an award in the Generation category (the youth section) at the 2013 Berlin Film Festival, “Mother, I Love You” captures all of the drama and desperation of a young boy caught in a difficult situation from his unique perspective.Raimonds (Kristofers Konovalovs) is a young boy living with his single obstetrician mother (Vita Varpina) in Riga. He scooters to school, plays saxophone in the band and plays Wii at home when his mother heads out late at night. They coexist more like roommates than mother and son at times, even squabbling over laundry. Raimonds also hangs out with his friend Peteris,...

The dancing going on around the JoBros during the swimsuit competition was a little bit awkward, but it was nothing compared to the Bollywood/yoga/runway-inspired evening wear choreography. Watch: Leonardo DiCaprio and Kanye West In the Trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street Nick Jonas laughs at his own joke…again. We’ll give it to ya, Nick, replacing fish in the bowl with cards is a pretty clever way to introduce the Q&A portion of the competition. OK! News: Disney Officially Picks Up Girl Meets World! Miss Utah’s final answer. We obviously saved the best for last, because this was the moment that left us cringing. Twitter’s video-sharing application Vine has taken the mobile world by storm. It is one of the most popular apps for the iPhone and has accumulated more than 13 million users since being released in January. Feeling threatened by its rival’s success, TechCrunch is reporting that Facebook will update Instagram to support video later this week. Earlier reports suggested that the feature would be similar to Vine and allow users to create and share simple videos between 5 and 10 seconds in length. Video support is seen as the initial step for Facebook to finally monetize Instagram’s more than 100 million monthly active users. Facebook is expected to announce Instagram’s video support at a press event on June 20th.
