'No one could know who Robert was working with that day,' the Hulk himself tells MTV News of teaming with Robert Downey Jr. By Todd Gilchrist, with reporting by Tami Katzoff
Um, duh. As if there was any doubt that ABC would send this to series, but now it's official: this fall you're going to be watching "Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D." as that comic universe keeps getting bigger and bigger... With Coulson now back from the dead thanks to his fake death in "The Avengers" (somewhat diminishing that surprising moment in the movie), Clark Gregg leads a cast of mostly lesser known faces -- Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and Chloe Bennet -- as they team up to protect the world from various comic book badness and presumably wink and nod to the ever expanding cinematic world. Maybe some people are “Captain America” fans, and some are “Hulk” fans. And most love “Iron Man.” These numbers surpass the $169 million taken in by 2011’s “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hollows Pt. 2” to give Marvel seven of the top twenty five opening weekends in box office history, a run of dominance that’s only expected to continue through 2015’s “The Avengers 2.” The worldwide box office also continues to buoy “Iron Man 3,” with the numbers reaching...
