SEATTLE (AP) — Umpire Jeff Nelson expressed regret on Saturday for making an incorrect call a night earlier, saying it was a play he'd never seen in 25 years.
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Former world champion Tyson Gay, free from injury for one of the few times in recent years, blitzed his rivals on Saturday to win the 100 meters at the Adidas Grand Prix.
The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival is quickly coming to a close In fact, the Un Certain Regard winners were just announced now (you can see them all right here). But this year’s line-up, unlike year’s past put a lot of heavy weights near the end of the festival like Roman Polanski’s “Venus In Fur,” and Jim Jarmusch’s deadpanned, odd and deeply enjoyable vampire movie, “Only Lovers Left Alive” which screened last night (you can read our review right here). The film centers on a deeply depressed underground musician (Tom Hiddleston) whose romantic solitude in Detroit and Tangiers who restored when he is reunited with his strong and enigmatic lover (Tilda Swinton). Their love has endured several centuries, but their debauched existence is soon disrupted by the arrival of the her younger sister (Mia Wasikowska) and her boyfriend (Anton Yelchin). For the reasonable sum of just 125,000 British pounds (around $189,000), the Grid 2: Mono Edition can be yours. That's right, a little less than a new Porsche 911 Turbo S, you can have a copy of Grid 2 complete with original artwork, a brand new Playstation 3, a tour of the BAC factory, a Grid 2-branded racing helmet, a full racing suit with boots and gloves, and, you guessed it, a G2-liveried BAC Mono. That's right - buy a video game, get a racecar. At least that's how Codemasters is spinning it. In the attached press release, it claims that Grid 2: Mono Edition will set the Guinness World Record for "Most Expensive Video Game Commercial Available - Special Edition." Our request for a playable demo is in the mail, Codemasters.Continue reading Grid 2: Mono Edition is some kind of spendy video gameGrid 2: Mono Edition is some kind of spendy video game originally appeared on Autoblog on Sat, 25 May 2013 19:01:00 EST.
