
(Reuters) - Veteran pass rusher Dwight Freeney, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, has agreed to a two-year deal with the San Diego Chargers, the National Football League (NFL) team said on Saturday. Freeney, a free agent after being released by the Indianapolis Colts in February, will help fill the gap left by outside linebacker Melvin Ingram, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during team in practice on Tuesday. Though the Chargers did not reveal financial details, local media estimate Freeney's deal to be worth $13.35 million over the two years. ...
