Last week, we gave Ryan Lochte fans a special treat in the form of a sappy, adorable interview about his relationship with his mom. It was Mother's Day weekend, after all. But this week? It's back to business as usual, as Ryan answers some questions about his hit E! show, What Would Ryan Lochte Do? and takes some fan questions from Twitter! OK! Exclusive: Ryan Lochte Opens Up About His Mom Read on to see what Ryan told us about watching TV, his future as a father and more, below: OK!: What's the craziest thing you've filmed thus far that you're afraid to show on camera?
Ryan Lochte: I’m not scared to show anything. I went into this series wanting to be totally uncensored. On the flip side, I had a camera in my face pretty much 24/7. And of all those hours of filming, you get 30 minutes a week, so you never know what will end up making air. OK!: Does filming the show ever get in the way of your swim training?
RL: I’m trying to balance both worlds the best I can, but swimming will always take top priority. OK!: What's your favorite show other than your own?
RL: To be honest, I don’t have a ton of time for TV right now, or movies (which I love). I am training for WORLDS right now. But when I get the time, I’m more of a boxed-set TV watcher. Peter Webber, helmer of Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hannibal Rising and Emperor, has come attached to Bedlam Productions’ Happy Camp. The noir thriller is set to shoot in North America at the end of 2013. Scripted by Zayd Dohrn and produced by Stella Nwimo, Happy Camp follows a drug-addled former Deputy Sheriff, CAL searching for his missing daughter amongst the complex politics of a rural Californian logging community. Taking place just off-reservation, the story exists where several worlds collide, with drug dealers, Native Americans, and corrupt officials all coming to blows. Meanwhile CAL grows increasingly desperate as he unearths a major conspiracy involving his daughter and a devastating forest fire rages, threatening to destroy the town of Happy Camp.
