“Adventureland” director Greg Mottola has made himself something of a second home on television. He spent the early part of the new millennium directing episodes of shows like “Undeclared” and “Arrested Development,” and last year he directed a few episodes of HBO series “The Newsroom” For his next film he’s stuck with the legendary cable network, delivering the comedy “Clear History” and a teaser for the film has arrived online. Starring Larry David, Jon Hamm, Bill Hader, Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes and Danny McBride, the mostly-improvised film follows David as “a hipster marketing exec who sells all his shares at a start-up over a fight with his boss, only to miss out on billions when the company’s new product -- an electric car -- becomes a smashing success.”  The teaser (via EW) is a paltry thirty seconds but it’s worth it to see David looking like . . . well, you just have to see it for yourself. Sierra/Affinity has sold 20 international markets for Ryan Gosling’s directorial debut, fantasy drama “How to Catch a Monster.” Christina Hendricks, Iain De Caestecker, Saoirse Ronan, Ben Mendelsohn, Eva Mendes, Matt Smith and Rob Zabrecky are starring in the project, which recently began shooting in Detroit.
