*Spoilers Ahead For 'Star Trek Into Darkness' & "Iron Man 3" * In 2007, J.J Abrams gave a TED talk about the mystery box; principally, a Tannen's Mystery Box he was bought by his grandfather from a magic store when he was a child. Abrams, in a typically articulate, engaging and funny address, talked about how the box had come to represent, for him, infinite possibility, and became a kind of manifesto for much of his work up to that point. And in the years since (quite deliberately, in a lot of way; it served as the front cover of an issue of Wired he edited, for one), it's become a recurring motif in his work, and often referred to in reviews or commentary of his work. And with "Star Trek Into Darkness," it's started to become a bit of an albatross. First things first. I like J.J. Abrams a lot. I like the way he's melded familiar pop culture tropes to weird sci-fi ideas with the likes of "Alias" and "Lost." I think he's grown exponentially as a filmmaker each time out, and is...

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's an absolute truckload of new images and posters from "Man Of Steel," Zack Snyder's increasingly imminent reboot of the Superman series. Many groaned when Snyder got the gig three years back, even with Christopher Nolan acting as producer, but the closer the film's gotten, the more it looks like the naysayers, ourselves included, might have to eat their words. And there's plenty more confidence to be found in this batch of photos, banners and posters from Warner Bros, which indicate almost every facet of the new movie, from Russell Crowe' Kryptonian father Jor-El, to Laurence Fishburne's Daily Planet boss Perry White, and more besides. But will moviegoing audiences take to Henry Cavill's Superman the way they have to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Christian Bale's Batman and Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man? We'll find out when the movie opens on June 14th. [Superhero Hype]

Of the three big superhero movies this year, "The Wolverine" might well be the least anticipated at this point. "Iron Man 3" had the heat off "The Avengers," and has already made a billion dollars, while "Man Of Steel" has a reboot, the Christopher Nolan factor and some pretty amazing trailers. Whereas while James Mangold's film is from the longest-running superhero franchise currently going (it's thirteen years since Hugh Jackman first donned the claws), it's coming off two sub-standard films in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "X-Men: First Class," and it's reflected in the relative lack of buzz for the film. That said, it doesn't arrive until the end of July, so Fox have plenty of time to correct that, and the new trailer that just arrived should help quite a bit. It's not wildly different to what we've seen so far, but it takes its time a little more, and feels a bit more muscular and confident as a result, particularly with some of the dodgy effects from previous promos seemingly...

News: ‘DWTS’ Female Finalists Reveal Their Fave Fashion Moments • Start with a smooth blowout. Take a large-barrelled round brush and blow dry your hair to give it a sleek finish. Make sure to work out any tangles. • When hair is dry, separate it into smaller sections (each section should be around 1-inch by 1-inch for convenience). Use a curling iron and curl each individual section, moving from the back to the front. Sascha suggests using a 1- or 1.5-inch curling iron that allows you to set the temperature for the needs of your hair for the task. Recommended: The Braun Satin Series OK! You should be rolling your hair such that when you reach the nape of your neck, all your hair is tucked into one swooped-up roll. Bobby pin the roll at the bottom hairline. • Tug on the hair towards the face, and backcomb it a little bit to give it some height and volume. Fan the hair out a bit, horizontally, to give the illusion of a rounded bob. OK! News: Khloe Kardashian Defends Sis Kim’s Figure • Leave a few strands loose to frame the face.
