MOORE, Oklahoma (Reuters) - Tornado survivors thanked God, sturdy closets and luck in explaining how they lived through the colossal twister that devastated an Oklahoma town and killed 24 people, an astonishingly low toll given the extent of destruction.

The Bachelorette star Meredith Phillips was looking to find her future husband when she went on reality television in 2004. Today, she reveals she has a new goal—staying sober. "I really can only focus on one thing at a time right now," Meredith, who hasn't touched alcohol in 150 days, tells People. OK!
