As a mom, Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars winner Melissa Rycroft knows how important it is to keep her loved ones sun safe while having fun this summer, so she's teaming up with Banana Boat to launch the Unconditional Fun Sweepstakes through which families can win a getaway to any one of the 10 Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark Resorts in the country. Melissa chats with OK! about being sun smart, planning the ultimate family vacay and who just might take home that coveted Mirror Ball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars tonight. OK!: What are your tips for making sure everyone gets out the door wearing sunblock? Melissa Rycroft: Oh my gosh, you stand at the door with the sunscreen—that’s what you do! I’m lucky, my husband is actually really good about applying it because he’s a burner and he knows if he doesn’t he’s going to hurt. My little one has his skin tone so she’s really fair-skinned and she doesn’t put up much of a fight yet so as of now it’s pretty easy to get the family out in their sunscreen. Ask me again in a few years! OK! News: What's In Your Beauty Bag, Laura Marano? OK!: Any advice for getting sunblock on a squirmy toddler? MR: My number one tip for a toddler is to get the spray. The lotion…they just don’t have the attention span for it. These days the spray comes in either clear or white if you want to see where it’s going. I use the white and then I actually put the clear on her little scalp because her head burns so badly. The spray will follow the squirming so that should be an easy solution. OK!: What has been your favorite family vacation? MR: I have a feeling we’re about to go on it. We’re going to Europe in a couple months – all three of us. I’ve never been, obviously Ava never has but Tye has, I have a feeling that’s going to be fun. But so far Tye and I took a trip to St. Lucia a couple of years ago that by far has been better than anything I’ve gone on before. OK! News: 'The X Factor' Names Two New Judges OK!: What countries are you planning on visiting ? MR: My husband is planning the whole thing so I couldn’t even tell you! OK!: Make him do the work! MR: I’m usually the planner of the group so this time I’m like, wow, I get to sit back and enjoy. Watch: Kate Hudson's Chevron Mani Can Be Yours In Minutes OK!: What’s the funniest thing Ava has done recently? MR: Last time we were in New York, the three of us, I was out working for the day and right before I left Tye and Ava were in the hotel room together and she pooped in the bath tub. I was on a deadline so I left. I came back to the hotel room seven hours later to find the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, the tub empty and two little poo pellets sitting in the tub. I don’t know who that was more embarrassing for—my husband who didn’t clean it up or my poor little daughter who went to the bathroom in the bathtub. He left it for me to figure out seven hours later. He was in the doghouse a little bit that night. OK!: If you could arrange a play date with any celebrity kid, who would it be? MR: There’s so many cool little kids. Gwen Stefani’s little ones seem like really cool kids. I would want to set something up with one of them. OK! News: Get Jessica Biel's Stunning Cannes Hair Look OK!: Their style is amazing, too. MR: Not many kids can pull of a blue mohawk—let’s be honest. OK!: Who do you think will take home the Mirror Ball Trophy tonight on the DWTS finale? MR: I’ve said from day one Kellie Pickler is going to be putting up a pretty big fight. I think she’s been one of, if not the, front runner the whole time. I personally would love to see Aly (Raisman) come away with it just because she was kind of the underdog at the beginning but then had this huge surge of power behind her the past couple weeks. I think it would be really great to see her win. These guys are great – this final four. It could easily go to Zendaya, it could easily got to Jacoby (Jones). I still think Kellie’s gonna walk away (with it) but nobody would surprise me at this point. Where are you planning your family vacay this year? Tell us in the comments below or tweet @OKMagazine. Austin & Ally star Laura Marano not only shares a peek inside her beauty bag with us, but a pro makeup tip she learned as well. "My makeup artist has the best trick for putting on lip gloss or even just lipstick," says the Disney Channel star. "You don’t do a kissy face or a serious face, you stretch your lips in a grin and you can get every part of your lip. It looks really good after. It’s awesome!" OK! Read for yourself! • "I’m obsessed with Rimmel Scandaleyes right now—super, super obsessed. I just love how it maximizes my eyelashes. I also use Benefit mascara, it’s actually a purple color, which I love. It’s called BADgal—totally love it. I’m feeling colored mascara right now." OK! News: Want Abs Like Nina Dobrev? Try These Exercises! • "I have a Chanel lipstick and it doesn’t have a name, which makes me sad, because I like when lip gloss has a name, like Frowning Tree. I’ve never had a lipstick named that but you know what I mean. I love this color. It’s not a light pink but it definitely has some orangey pink qualities. Not that orange, it’s more pink, but I feel like it makes my lips look good. It’s not too in your face." OK! News: Try Jessica Biel's Chic Red Carpet Look • "I love Tarte Cheek Stain. It makes you look like your blush is super natural and I love that. In the daytime I like to look as natural as possible. I don’t want to put on too much." • "When it comes to eye makeup I love Clinique. Clinique’s a good one. What I love about it is that it comes with two brushes and each of the brushes are different. I know now a little more about how to put eye makeup on, especially working and my sister’s (Switched at Birth's Vanessa Marano) really good at that, but when I was 13 or 14 I was like, 'Eye makeup? What is this crazy activity?' But this has one for the primer, the contour area and the eyeshadow/eyeliner. It’s perfect." Photos: We're Loving Cannes Film Festival Fashion • "When I’m working I wear so much makeup and when I’m out with my friends I wear makeup so sometimes at school I’m just like, today is not much of a makeup day—foundation, chapstick—done." • "For face washes I love Proactiv. Sometimes I use the whole kit but other times I only use the toner. I absolutely love it. It can sometimes make my face go a little dry so I also have some Clinique Moisturizing Lotion."
