Part one of the Dancing With the Stars season finale was filled with all kinds of drama including bloody injuries, a tear-inducing, emotionally-charged performance and a web voting malfunction. OK! News: Nina Dobrev Reveals Her Fairytale Life Less than an hour before the show was set to go live, Zendaya and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy found themselves in dire need of a medic when the 16-year-old Disney Channel starlet accidentally jabbed an elbow in the pro dancer's eye during a dress rehearsal. "I was worried when it happened because I could see the blood and I don’t think he could see that he was covered in blood and it was just gushing out," says Zendaya, who is nursing strep throat and had standardized testing for school today. "Every time I looked at him there was more. It stressed me out but he just kept smiling and that means keep going. I’ve definitely learned from this and he’s a champ." OK! Nobody!," he said. "I’m dancing no matter what. I’ll dance bleeding. I continued that dress rehearsal until the end. The poor kids (who performed alongside Team Zendaya last night) had to see me all bloody. The kids are all smiles and then they see me with half of my face in blood. I felt bad for the kids. But otherwise there was no way I wasn’t dancing tonight." OK! News: Khloe Kardashian Defends Kim's Figure and Speaks Out On Body Image While Val was putting on a brave face, Kellie Pickler and her partner Derek Hough had the crowd, and even judge Carrie Ann Inaba, in tears with their freestyle routine set to Labrinth's "Beneath Your Beautiful." The stripped down performance could be just the thing to secure the duo the mirror ball trophy. "I’m actually so glad she (Carrie Ann) made a comment earlier in the season, 'What you do is so great but I’m not feeling anything. I’m not feeling a connection,'" says Derek. "That actually stuck with me and when I was doing this I kind of played with my mind. I was like you know what, I want this to be an emotional routine. I want this to connect with people, to connect with us. After we finished the routine I felt like we were so in it together and I could feel the audience in it with us. And then I looked over and Carrie Ann was crying and I was like, Ah, we did it!' That was the moment to top off the season for us and it couldn’t have gone better." OK! News: Get Ready To Meet Your New Style Besties Jeannie Mai and Louise Roe Kellie agreed, saying that was the first dance where she felt like she wasn't acting a part.  "Each dance that we’ve danced has its special moments and whatnot but tonight, I don’t know, there was so much freedom that I felt," says the country star. "I don’t know if it was just because we got to go out there and do whatever we wanted to do but there were no walls up. I just went out there and it was like I’m just gonna be me and hopefully people like it and if they don’t there’s nothing I can do about it. I just want to do my best and I lost myself in the dance. I felt for the first time I lost myself. I know I sound crazy but there was such a freedom feeling that came over me while we were out there. It felt like it was just Derek and me out there dancing." By now almost everyone who really, really wanted to see "Star Trek Into Darkness" has. And those who haven't probably don't care who the villain in "Star Trek Into Darkness" is. That said, we should still issue a perfunctory spoiler warning to those who get queasy at the sight of plot specifics.
