From a Luc Besson action flick getting a veteran to Armie Hammer getting swapped for a hot rising actor, a few casting bits and bobs to keep you ahead of the game.... First up, Morgan Freeman has joined Luc Besson's upcoming actioner "Lucy." Scarlett Johansson leads the movie playing a woman who is forced to become a drug mule but finds the substances have entered her body instead turning her into some kind of ass-kicking badass. Uh, okay. Scratch that -- she basically becomes all the X-Men combined as "her new abilities allow her to see into the future, move objects with her mind and disregard pain and other emotions." Lord. Freeman will play a science dude who can explain all this, who Lucy attempts to find before she dies or something. This sounds pretty dumb. [The Wrap] "Mad Men" star Christina Hendricks will star in the '70s drama "Measure Of A Man." Directed by Terry Loane and penned by David Scearce, the coming-of-age tale will follow "a bullied...

If you listen to the internet -- and that’s always a precarious thing to do -- Warner Bros. “Man Of Steel” is either the worst movie of all time or the best movie of all time and of course, nothing in between (and lord there’s been some kicking and screaming by people who disagree with one another). A “Man Of Steel” sequel is already in the works and while Superman couldn’t outgun “Iron Man 3” at the 2013 box-office this year, it did break some June release records and grossed...

If you’ve had a longing desire to visit New Zealand after seeing the original “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, this new featurette from “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” will only strengthen that resolve. The video, which you can view below, gives us a brief look at some of the stunning vistas that have been or will be seen in “The Hobbit” trilogy. Stars of the series like Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood give their own personal testimonies on how picturesque New Zealand is and how it seems so unreal. Essentially the video plays like a tourist ad for New Zealand, but you have to admit that they make a pretty strong case for it. Of course, it also delves into the making of 'Smaug' including the creation of Hobbiton, the landscape and much more. “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” hits theaters on December 13, 2013.
