Starz/BBC series The White Queen will debut on Starz on Saturday, August 10, following the Friday season finale of Magic City. The 10-episode drama, based on the bestselling historical novels by Philippa Gregory, is set against the backdrop of England’s Wars of the Roses and stars Max Irons, Amanda Hale, James Frain, newcomers Rebecca Ferguson and Faye Marsay and Oscar nominee Janet McTeer. The thoroughly complete hoodwinking that Noah Baumbach pulled with his shot-on-the-sly Greta Gerwig vehicle, “Frances Ha,” has meant a celebration of the director’s rejuvenated style, and an even more fierce inquiry into what he’s hiding next. Apart from his color companion piece to “Frances Ha,” there’s the long-gestating Ben Stiller comedy “While We’re Young," which recently snagged Adam Driver and Naomi Watts for its cast, and now, it appears, will add one more. The film stars Stiller and Watts as an older, forty-something couple who cross paths with a younger, carefree couple, and with Driver secured as one-half of that pair, Amanda Seyfried has just been announced (via The Wrap) as the other.
