WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will target carbon emissions from power plants as part of a second-term climate change agenda expected to be rolled out in the next few weeks, his top energy and climate adviser said on Wednesday.

So Shailene Woodley, who will no longer appear in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and is reportedly being replaced in part 3 all together, got kicked in the teeth today, right? That and the fact that there were those vile comic book nerd posts a while back questioning her attractiveness (like those guys wouldn't dream to sit next to her, let alone date her). Meh, not so much. In fact, it's kind of been her day. She showed up in the trailer for "The Spectacular Now," this morning, one of Sundance 2013's biggest hits and now new images of "Divergent" have been released. What's "Divergent"? Well, a sci-fi-ish young adult movie adaptation that looks like it's going to be as popular as "The Hunger Games" if audience fan buzz is any indication. Woodley is the star, but she was reluctant to take the role at first. "My agents were like, ‘are you f—ing crazy?’ But I said if this movie is successful, things will change and I don’t want that,” she told Entertainment Weekly today. Set in a...

Free Birds tells the tale of two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history – and get turkey off the Thanksgiving menu for good. The stellar voice cast includes Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson Amy Poehler, Dan Fogler, Lesley Nicol, George Takei, Colm Meaney, Keith David, Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo, and Dwight Howard. Jimmy Hayward directs and Scott Mosier, Craig Mazin, John Strauss and David l. Stern produce from a script by Stern and Strauss. Mazin did a rewrite. The pic from Relativity and Reel FX bows wide on November 1. Check out the trailer:

Shailene Woodley is running Hollywood right now. She's on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week, promoting her movie Divergent as "the next Hunger Games," and it doesn't even come out for another nine months. She was also cast in another huge book adaptation, The Fault in Our Stars, and is currently filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2. OK! News: See the hilarious gif of Leonardo DiCaprio breakdancing in his new movie trailer. Or at least, she was until today. The studio behind the Spider-Man confirmed that her scenes have been cut from the film, and that this film will focus more on Emma Stone's character, Gwen Stacy. This is super weird on many levels. Are you ready for a few of them? One, Shailene plays the second most important character in the whole franchise (second only to Spider-Man, of course). Mary Jane Watson is his great love. Even if she only had a few scenes, they would be significant, right? Two, Emma Stone's character Gwen Stacy was probably going to be killed in this movie. Now what? "I made a creative decision to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship," said director Marc Webb. But... Three, they've been filming this movie for four months. They just decide to change the entire plot of the film? OK! News: The Anchorman 2 trailer is out! Watch now and LOL. Four, this is coming off news that Sony has ordered two more sequels, for 2016 and 2018. When will we meet Mary Jane, and will they recast Shailene? Five, who can forget that deleted Emma Stone tweet, an anagram for "Andrew and Shailene sitting in a tree?"? Emma has explained that she never tweets and that her verified account was hacked, which we actually buy because Emma is such a lovely, classy gal and coded tweets about boy drama are definitely not her bag. Six, again, they've been filming this enormously expensive movie for four months. They even filmed Gwen Stacy's death scene (probably!). Imagine calling your boss and saying, "Oh, I changed my mind. Can I have another $150 million?" Are you disappointed that Shailene was cut from the movie? Are you excited that there will be more Emma in the movie?
