
United Talent Agency has picked up another one of the Glee club. Jacob Artist will be joining Cory Monteith, Naya Rivera, Jayma Mays and Melissa Benoist at UTA. The actor, who was previously with APA, will be represented by UTA in all areas. He continues to be represented by David Dean Management. Artist joined Fox’s Glee this season as Jake Puckerman the half-brother of Noah “Puck” Puckerman who is played by Mark Saling. The actor was seen last year in Lifetime’s Blue Lagoon: The Awakening TV movie. Artist appears next in the feature The Philosophers as well as in White Bird in a Blizzard with Shailene Woodley, Angela Bassett and Gabourey Sidibe.

What happened at the cliffhanger ending of 2004's "Before Sunset?" Sundance Selects acquired U.S. rights to writer-director François Ozon‘s Young & Beautiful from Wild Bunch. The film stars up-and-coming French actress Marine Vacth in the lead role, alongside Geraldine Pailhas, Frederic Pierrot, Fantin Ravat, Johan Leysen, Charlotte Rampling, Nathalie Richard, Djedje Apali, Lucas Prisor, Laurent Delbecque, Jeanne Ruff, and Serge Hefez. The drama tells the story of a young woman coming of age from her sexual awakening to the loss of her virginity, and from her exploration of love to her search for her identity. It made its world premiere this week in Competition at Cannes. Ozon’s film Swimming Pool was in Competition at the 2003 Cannes fest. Cohen Media Group released Ozon’s last film, In The House, last month after it previewed at Col-Coa. Eric & Nicolas Altmayer produced Young & Beautiful. The deal for the film was negotiated by Arianna Bocco, SVP of Acquisitions & Productions for Sundance Selects/IFC Films with Carole Baraton and Henri Fabre at Wild Bunch on behalf of the filmmakers.

CANNES (Reuters) - An ultra-violent thriller set in the Bangkok underworld of brothels and fight clubs came under attack at the Cannes film festival on Wednesday for its bloodletting which Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn defended as art.
