Nope, that headline was not a typo. Us Weekly is reporting that Selena Gomez and Ed Sheeran are hooking up. Whoa. Watch: Ed Sheeran's New Music Video with Taylor Swift Of course we have Taylor Swift to blame, thank, whatever for this supposed romance, since Ed is currently opening up for Taylor on her Red tour and she was responsibe for setting the two up. And as much as we love Selena and Ed as invidivuals and as musicians, we're just not so sure we can see them together. But, as we can see from Selena's past dating experience, she does like guys who are about to be really famous. She dated Nick Jonas at the height of his fame on Disney Channel, as she did with Taylor Lautner with Twilight and, lastly, Justin Bieber. OK! News: Selena Gomez Becomes a Big Sister But why we think this could work, though? Ed is two years older than 20-year-old Selena, and she definitely seems like she needs an older guy who can take care of her rather than a teen like Bieber. Guess time will tell on if this relationship is the real deal or just a fling. Photos: Scooter Braun and All His Famous Friends What do you think of Selena and Ed as a couple? The high-concept thriller, directed by del Toro from a script he co-wrote with Chuck Hogan based on their vampire novel trilogy, tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll), the head of the Centers for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. Hurt, who first worked with del Toro in his 2004 feature Hellboy, will portray Professor Abraham Setrakian, a holocaust survivor who immigrated to the U.S. after World War II and now runs a pawn shop in Spanish Harlem. As the outbreak spreads, he may be the only one with answers — if anyone will listen. “I am incredibly happy to be reunited with John, who is one of the greatest actors in the world and one of my favorite people ever,” said del Toro. “Chuck and I always visualized him while writing The Strain novels and he is absolutely perfect for the part!” Kevin Durand, Richard Sammel, Lauren Lee Smith, Jonathan Hyde and Miguel Gomez co-star ...
