There's only a few days left of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, but still some of the biggest films are yet to come. Tomorrow brings Alexander Payne's "Nebraska," while Saturday includes both Roman Polanski's "Venus In Fur" and Jim Jarmusch's "Only Lovers Left Alive." And as for Friday? Well, Friday brings the return to Cannes of one of their favorite filmmakers, James Gray, back with his first film since 2008's "Two Lovers" with "The Immigrant." We got our first brief glimpse of the period piece earlier in the week, and now a new, longer clip has arrived. It still features Marion Cotillard's refugee, Ewa, but rather than Jeremy Renner's magician Orlando, she's paired up with Joaquin Phoenix's Bruno, Orlando's cousin, a seemingly friendly man who actually pushes her into prostitution. Even more so than the last, this establishes some stunning production design, and the gorgeous-sepia toned look, courtesy of DoP Darius Khondji. In general, it just makes us wish it was Friday already....

Brad Pitt and Plan B Entertainment President Dede Gardner announced today that Jeremy Kleiner has been promoted to Co-President of the production company. “Jeremy Kleiner has played an immeasurable role in the success of this company.  ”This promotion is long overdue.  We are happy to make it official” said Pitt in a statement today. Along with Pitt and Gardner, Kleiner produced Plan B’s upcoming World War which stars Pitt and is being released by Paramount on June 21. Kleiner is a producer on Plan B’s Twelve Years A Slave, directed by Steve McQueen and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Dano, and Paul Giamatti, which will be released by Fox Searchlight on December 27th. He also is a produce on True Story from New Regency which is,directed by Rupert Goold and stars Jonah Hill and James Franco. Kleiner is also an Executive Producer of Plan B and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ ABC/ABC Studios pilot, Resurrection, and on Plan B productions Kick-Ass, Eat Pray Love, and The Private Lives Of Pippa Gardner. With Dede Gardner, Kleiner oversees Plan B’s development and production slate. Kleiner joined Plan B in 2003 and rose through the ranks from Creative Executive to Producer and now Co-President. He previously worked as a creative executive at Dick and Lauren Shuler Donner’s company before joining Plan B.
