The network upfronts are over, which means we know all the new network TV shows that will air between now and a year from now. It's an exciting time, and there are lots of shows that seem very exciting. But there's also more of the usual popular stuff: families, cops, and vampires. Take a look at our checklist: OK! News: Vote for all our OK! TV Awards in one place! Shows portraying modern families—7 Family is obviously an enormous topic, but there are 7 show about broken or otherwise newfangled families trying to make things work. Remember how well it worked out for The New Normal, people?! Shows portraying "normal" families—2 Shows about cops—7 Shows about cops where some of the cops are super-human— 3 Spin-offs—2 The Originals will portray the "original" vampire family from The Vampire Diaries. And shockingly, that's the only new show about vampires! New takes on classic stories—3 Sleepy Hollow's Ichabod Crane, Alice in Wonderland, and Dracula are all getting shows this year. Shows led by stars of Bridesmaids—2 Rebel Wilson stars in Super Fun Night, and Wendi McLendon-Covey stars in The Goldbergs. Shows set in the past—2 The Goldbergs is about a family in the 1980s, and Surviving Jack is about a family in the 1990s. Shows about single people hanging out—3 Number of WB stars coming back to us—2 Buffy's Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in The Crazy Ones (CBS), while Gilmore Girls star Alexis Bledel leads Us & Them. Shows set in the dystopian future—3 Almost every new original show on The CW is about a sick, sad future. Which new show are you the most excited about? Which seems the most promising?
