If Freddie Quell came back from World War II as an unhinged animal, Jimmy Picard (Benicio Del Toro) is the polar opposite, an intensely quiet but no less wounded man, who is out of sorts in post-war America. But he is also a Native American, which brings to his life a whole set of experiences (especially at the time) foreign to common understanding, giving his plight an extra layer of complexity. And it's within this milieu that Arnaud Desplechin presents the true story "Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian)," a picture that meanders and focuses far too heavily on its subtitle, rather than on its two lead characters, who are presented with promise, but are ultimately left underdeveloped. When we first meet Jimmy P., it's three years after the war, and he's at his sister's home, suffering deeply. He's plagued by crippling headaches, bouts of blindness and hearing loss, and tremors that leave him clutching the walls to stay standing. He is soon admitted to the Winter Hospital...

When Lisa Rinna heads to Buca di Beppo’s new Times Square location this week to give her handprints in their signature marinara sauce, her daughters Delilah, 14, and Amelia, 11, are top of mind. The All-Star Celebrity Apprentice castoff, who is married to actor Harry Hamlin, picks up t-shirts and sweatshirts for herself and the girls. It’s no wonder she needs multiples: she has trouble with them raiding her closet, which is filled with frocks from the Romanitza House of Fashion. “They’re in my closet daily,” the reality star, 49, tells me. “I do have rules—they have to ask me if it’s something they want to wear. I’ve actually saved all my gowns—everything I’ve ever pretty much worn, I’ve saved gown-wise for them, so they have a lot to choose from when the time comes.” OK! I have an 8 ½, so she’s grown out of my shoes. I’m very happy about that, to be honest with you. She can’t wear my shoes, but my 14-year-old can wear my shoes.” Despite her fashion sense on display with her QVC line Belle Gray By Lisa Rinna, she doesn’t play the overbearing mom. “I don’t think I’ve dressed either one of them since they were two,” she says. “They both have dressed themselves since they were two-years-old. I’ve had not one say in their style sense, which I think is great, because I think kids should express themselves and find their own sense of fashion.” OK! GALLERY: OK! Even though she lets them experiment with fashion, she is a strict parent. “I am very much a stickler on how much skin is showing, and how much skin is shown at school,” she says. “One child’s in a uniform, thank God, and the other one has clothes to wear. They have to cover up. The shorts can’t be too short. Things can’t be seen.” She continues, “My one daughter tends to roll her uniform skirt up as high as she possibly can, and they have a rule where the skirt has to be at the bottom of your fingertips, so it’s funny—she’s constantly yanking it up.” OK! GALLERY: OK! QUICK PICS: KIM KARDASHIAN’S BABYDOLL DRESS, VICTORIA BECKHAM’S MOMMY MOMENT AND MORE As time passes, her relationship with her daughters deepens. “It keeps getting better and better,” she says. “To raise girls is so magnificent. It is a big job being the mother of two young women, because I’m their mirror. I think you have to be cognizant of that, and you really have to mirror what you would like your children to become.” She continues, “I try to do that, and I’m cognizant of being a strong role model for them. That means doing charitable work, that means working hard for something that you want, and not just necessarily getting it—that means consequences to things. If something happens that’s not appropriate, there’s a consequence to it. I’m trying to teach them how to live in this life, because it’s not easy. And it shouldn’t come easy. I’m trying to teach them to be smart.” Don't miss the live finale of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, which airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on NBC. Kali — the orphaned polar bear cub that was rescued in Alaska earlier this year — arrived safely at a new home in Buffalo, N.Y., early Wednesday (May 15) after a long trip aboard a UPS cargo plane.

By Diego Ore CARACAS (Reuters) - Socialist leader Nicolas Maduro and the billionaire boss of Venezuela's biggest private company have buried the hatchet after a war of words over food shortages and other economic problems in the South American nation. Perpetuating the hard-line rhetoric of his predecessor Hugo Chavez, newly-elected Maduro turned on Empresas Polar president Lorenzo Mendoza in recent days, accusing him of hoarding products as part of an "economic war" on the state by private business. ...
