Their efforts constantly find the "Duke Boys" eluding authorities in "The General Lee," their famed 1969 orange Dodge Charger that keeps them one step ahead of the dimwitted antics of the small southern town's Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane (M.C. Gainey).

The singer's latest driving-related arrest caps off years of erratic behavior behind the wheel.By Mawuse Ziegbe George Michael Photo: Live 8/ Getty Images In his latest headline-making turn behind the wheel, pop singer George Michael was arrested on Sunday in London on suspicion of being unfit to drive. Michael was taken to a London police station after cops received reports that a car had smashed into a building. While the weekend crash recalls a scene from, say, "The Dukes of Hazzard" or "Cops," the collision was just another mark on Michael's growing list of rowdy (and often drug-related) automotive incidents. Michael shot to fame in the 1980s as a member of the Brit pop duo Wham! and later found solo success with hits like "Faith," "I Want Your Sex" and "Father Figure." After getting arrested in a Beverly Hills restroom and being charged with "engaging in a lewd act" in 1998 — a move that sparked massive media attention and eventually led the singer to both acknowledge his sexuality and spoof the incident in the video for his single "Outside" — Michael has lit up headlines in recent years more for his erratic behavior than for his hit-making prowess. 2006 - Authorities arrested Michael after the star was found slumped over in a car and blocking traffic in central London. The singer was detained on suspicion of possessing Class C drugs (Class C drugs include a range of substances, such as marijuana and painkillers) and then released on bail. Michael was involved in a similar incident just a few months later. Once again, the star was found knocked out in a vehicle and then crashed into a traffic divider when a fellow driver woke him. 2007 - Michael was barred from driving for two years after crashing into three parked vehicles and failing to notify the owners of the cars before driving away. 2008 - Even on foot, the star continued to run into trouble. The singer was arrested on drug-possession charges after an attendant caught Michael in a public restroom in London (a seemingly favored haunt for the troubled singer) with a "small amount" of marijuana and crack cocaine. Luckily for the star, Michael was not charged and was sent along with a cautionary warning. 2009 - In what appears to be an annual trend for the singer, Michael was arrested again after he crashed his Land Rover into a truck. The star was questioned and then released and later denied being inebriated in a statement: "Neither of us [the truck driver nor Michael] was charged because we were both stone cold sober." The star added, "I don't want my fans or my family worried by what they are reading all over again." Related Artists George Michael

Watching the premiere of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland last night (read Ken Tucker’s review), I was reminded of two things: How much I love series regular Wendie Malick’s delivery, and how much I love guest star John Schneider, period. He was my first celebrity crush. I used to watch The Dukes of Hazzard on

AP - The cinematic landscape is littered with terrible movies based on television shows. From "Leave It to Beaver" and "Bewitched" to "The Dukes of Hazzard" and "Starsky & Hutch," the vast majority of these adaptations have not exactly been must-sees. And we won't even begin to discuss movies based on "Saturday Night Live" sketches. There simply aren't enough hours in the day.

America’s Got Talent hopefuls can now load their auditions online. NBC and the show’s producers are teaming up with YouTube to select 12 acts for the live show from YouTube submissions. Afro Ninja, now’s your chance! The Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider has been tapped to play the title character in Doonby, a

Volo is one of those museum/used car dealerships that always has some of the most entertaining and outrageous cars in its inventory. One of the things they are best known for is their collection of rolling Hollywood memorabilia, and at this year's show, they have rolled out about a dozen vehicles that show off their range of Tinseltown metal. First up is the Mellow Yellow NASCAR racer that Tom Cruise piloted in Days of Thunder. They even have a monitor running movie clips featuring Cole Trickle beside the very seat he sat in for the filming - and no, it wasn't a booster seat. Next to that is Speed Racer's Mach 5, signed by Kustom Kar King George Barris. That sits alongside one of the General Lee Dodge Chargers from the Dukes of Hazzard movie and a really odd Buick Grand National. The GN is one of the cars that Vin Diesel drove in Fast and Furious 4. It is totally gutted inside and has a wild rear steering system that made us do a double-take. Across from that is the villain car from The Great Race and the awesomely wacky Turtle Mobile from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Our favorite star car, though - and the one that looks most at home here in Chicago - is the Blues Mobile, driven by one Joliet Jake and one Elwood Blues, a.k.a. "The Blues Brothers." It even has the comically oversized loudspeaker still strapped to the roof. All-in, the Volo display is fun attraction here in Chicago and an example of why this show is always so popular with the public.
