Nicole Richie and George Takei to Join NBC Show 'The New Normal'

For those who haven't caught an episode, The New Normal is the story of gay couple David (Justin Bartha) and Bryan Andrew Rannells) who want a baby. Enter Goldie (Georgia King) who wants a fresh start and offers to carry the child for the pair. Meanwhile, Goldie has a conservative and volcanic grandmother (Ellen Barkin), who injects much of the humorous relief when she spars with the die-hard liberal gay couple. OK!
